Clairerity is a physics graduate and satellite engineer whose love of art — especially creating 3D renders, and architectural and liminal spaces — is unfathomable. Her work experience provides her with the utmost creativity in crafting her style.
American artist James Turrell is considered one of the major influences on Clairerity’s work, as she often incorporates his “Light and Space” movement into her creations, as well as optical illusions to create an immersive experience for her audience wherein Clairerity explores how human beings react to the experience of being in a room filled with light.
Of all of Clairerity’s artistic creations, the one she loves most is her “Indoor Pool” (check the picture below). Wordless statements about the immersive capabilities of liminal spaces are made by using minimalist gradients and palettes to dominate the space. The picture depicts a moment of serenity, and we can feel the inherent freedom.
Clairerity’s experience as a satellite engineer inspires her unique artistic style — the bright colors and intricate patterns she creates are unlike anything else. Her work is delicate and filled with detail, but it is also bold and vibrant.
More so, Clairerity’s goal in working with Likha was to be recognized as an artist and gain exposure — so she collaborated on a project for the Simula artists’ collective.
The following images are the first three pieces Clairerity signed to be posted under Likha’s marketplace. A series of one-of-a-kind works she categorizes as “Light & Space.” The light and space of this collection are the foremost considerations, with simplicity acting as a platform for them.
“JUST DO IT”
Everyone needs to take a break sometimes, and as an artist who uses her mind for work, it is even more important! Clairerity recommends we focus on what we can do now to move forward. Don’t listen to negative influences and just do it!
